How to make a client itinerary in five steps
A good itinerary is short to read and hard to misunderstand. Whether you use this maker, a spreadsheet or a template, the same five steps produce a document a client can approve without a phone call.

Put the client and dates at the top
Name the traveller, the trip title and the travel dates. A client should see who the document is for and when the trip runs before anything else.

Write one card per day
Start each day with a clear title such as "Day 2: Ubud temples and rice terraces". Add transfers, the hotel, sightseeing and meals in plain sentences.

Leave breathing room
A packed plan looks impressive and travels badly. Keep one free block on longer trips, and note travel time between places.

State inclusions and exclusions
List exactly what is covered and what is not. Most client disputes begin with flights, meals, entry tickets or taxes that were assumed rather than written.

What a client-ready itinerary includes
- Who and when: traveller names, travel dates and trip length.
- One block per day: the place, the transfer, the stay, the main activity and meals.
- Hotel names and nights: so the client can look them up and trust the plan.
- Inclusions and exclusions: flights, visas, insurance, meals, entry tickets and taxes are the usual gaps.
- Price and payment terms: shown separately in a travel quotation format so the itinerary stays about the trip.

Yes. You can build, edit and save an itinerary as a PDF without creating an account or paying. It runs in your browser, so there is no upload and no limit on how many you make. Itiner's paid plans add AI drafting, client portals and branding, but this maker does not require any of them.
How do I save the itinerary as a PDF?
Press "Download as PDF". Your browser's print dialog opens with only the itinerary sheet selected. Choose "Save as PDF" as the destination. On Chrome, Edge and Safari this produces a clean single- or multi-page PDF you can send on WhatsApp or email.
Does it work for tour packages and DMC quotes?
It works for any day-by-day plan: leisure packages, honeymoons, group tours and DMC route summaries. Add one card per day, then list what is included and excluded. For quotations with per-option pricing and GST, use the travel quotation format guide or a quote builder.
Can I add my agency logo and colours?

Where is my data stored?
Only in your own browser, using local storage, so your draft is still there when you come back on the same device. Nothing you type is sent to Itiner's servers. Clearing site data removes the draft.
