Travefy alternative

A Travefy alternative built around an AI first draft

If your team is weighing a move, the questions are practical: how much rebuilding is involved, what happens to your existing templates, and whether the day-to-day gets faster. Itiner turns a trip brief into a full day-by-day draft, then your agents review and edit before anything is sent.

Free tier, no credit card. 14-day trial on paid plans.

The problem

Why agencies look for something else

The reasons teams start evaluating an alternative tend to repeat. None of these are unique to any one product; they are the friction points that make an agency open a comparison tab in the first place.

Every itinerary still starts from a blank page

A template gives you a shell, not a plan. Agents still type out each day, place by place. AI drafting removes the blank-page step and leaves the judgement calls to the agent.

Pricing scales faster than the team does

Per-seat plans punish you for adding a junior agent or a seasonal hire. Itiner has a free tier and paid plans starting at ₹1,500/month, with a founding-member rate and allowances that reset monthly.

WhatsApp inquiries get retyped by hand

Most Indian agencies take the first brief on WhatsApp, then copy dates, budget and traveller counts into a form. Itiner reads the pasted message and fills the brief, flagging anything the client did not say.

Sending an update means resending a file

When plans change, a static document has to be regenerated and resent. A live portal link always shows the current published version, so the client is never looking at a stale copy.

What to evaluate

What to check before you switch

Use these as a checklist against any alternative you shortlist, Itiner included. Each point is something you can test inside a free trial before you commit a single client trip.

How your existing templates move over

Rebuild your top five or six routes first, not all of them. In Itiner you save any finished trip as a reusable structure, so the first few trips you draft become the library the whole team works from.

Whether the AI draft is actually usable

Generate a draft for a destination you know well and read it critically. Itiner pulls real places from OpenStreetMap and returns a titled, day-by-day plan with 4 to 6 ordered blocks per day for the agent to edit.

What the client actually receives

Itiner gives one shareable portal link with no login, plus a branded PDF. The portal carries a weather strip, country emergency numbers, an optional quote and a comments thread, in your agency colours.

How branding and white-label work per plan

On the free tier the PDF is watermarked and the portal reads "Powered by Itiner". Growth removes both and adds team seats and priority support. Check the plan line against your headcount.

What stays outside the tool

Itiner does not hold live inventory, take traveller payments, or replace a CRM. It covers drafting, presentation, quoting, a light client pipeline and calendar. Confirm your booking and accounting stack still fits around it.

See a switch in practice

The demo walks through pasting a WhatsApp brief, generating a draft, editing a day, and publishing the portal link. It is the fastest way to judge how much of your current process Itiner would replace.

Frequently asked questions

Before you decide

Straight answers on scope, migration, and pricing, including where other systems and human review still matter.

How long does it take to move from Travefy to Itiner?

Most agencies are drafting live trips within a day. The work is rebuilding your handful of most-used routes as Itiner templates; new client trips move over first, and older ones stay where they are until they naturally wrap up. You do not need to migrate everything at once.

Will my client-facing itineraries look as polished?

The client opens a branded portal with your logo, brand colour and tagline, a choice of photo or gradient backgrounds, a live weather strip and emergency numbers. Branded PDF export is available too. On Growth and above the "Powered by Itiner" line is removed entirely.

Does Itiner do everything Travefy does?

No, and it is not meant to. Itiner focuses on AI-assisted drafting, templates, the client portal, quoting and a self-maintaining client pipeline. It does not include a booking engine, live rates, traveller payments or a full CRM with a marketing inbox. Check those against your current setup.

What does Itiner cost?

Itiner has a free tier and paid plans starting at ₹1,500/month. A founding-member rate is available, and every paid plan starts with a 14-day trial that needs no card. Trip and AI generation allowances reset each month.
